I am delighted to see a comprehensive book on an important and priority subject of health, diseases and the environment indicating dissemination of research findings and lecture topics, and update on emerging and reemerging diseases. Since there is not much documentation of this category of subjects, the task of presenting up-to-date information as provided in the book entitled “ Human Health, Diseases and the Environment” has been very difficult one. The Research findings and the update on topics included in part -1 & 2 of this document will survey stimulate graduate and post-graduate students, scientists, such as health and environmental activities, civil society, policy planners, decision makers, medical and public health professional to understand the gravity of environmental disaster, health and health related problems consequently sustainable national development. The author is to be commented for the selection and the arrangement of the subject and their description which should be attributed to his experience in the setting. The manuscript (ISBN-984-32-2182-6) is worth publishing and will be indeed timely and hence support to publish the same is solicited from philanthropists, agencies, and organizations like WHO, UNDP etc.I congratulate the author for a very commendable publication.
